Post-Operation Therapy

Joint Replacement Therapy
Knees, hips, shoulders, and ankles are a raising rehabilitation need. We even work with partial joint replacements and reverse joint replacements to get you back to enjoying life. We also offer “Prehab” programs before undergoing joint replacements.
Dry Needling
Dr. Geoffrey Carson is certified in dry needling, which helps relieve muscle tension and pain in localized areas. He strongly believes in the difference it can make when implementing it into the rehabilitation process, similar to a missing puzzle piece.
Electrical Stimulation
We use all types of electrical stimulation modalities. Hi-volt, Russian, interferential, TENS, bi-polar, neuro-muscular, and/or biofeedback are offered. Electrical Stimulation can aid in lessening pain, muscle tension, and many other conditions. We use E-Stim alongside other treatments to see the best results possible.
Decompression
Decompression, or traction, is a mechanical therapy that can help relieve tension and pressure in your neck and/or back. Reducing radiculopathies and chronic pain syndromes. You will be comfortable and relaxed with our specialized treatment plans during decompression therapy.
Heat Treatments
Heat is used in our clinic along with many other treatments. It helps loosen up tight muscles and relax your body as other treatments are taking place, and on its own before the normal treatment plan is given.
Ultrasounds
Ultrasounds in physical therapy are a bit different than diagnostic and imaging ultrasounds. PT Ultrasounds are used to help reduce pain and inflammation, increase blood flow, and release muscle tension for a multitude of conditions. This is usually coupled with electrical stimulation in our clinics to provide immediate relief.
Balance and Gait Disorders
Difficulty walking can stem from a variety of conditions or circumstances. Inside our clinic, we have a ceiling-mounted Solo-Step track system that allows our therapists to harness patients and assist them in relearning how to move on their own.
Sports-Related Injuries
Sports at all levels can be risky for anyone (professional to weekend warriors). If you have been injured during a sports-related accident, our therapists have experience with many common and unconventional injuries on and off the field, court, or backyard.
Limb-Length Discrepancies
Having one leg shorter than another can cause pain in your back, hips, knees, and even feet. Spinal alignment issues or anatomic leg length concerns are addressed with diagnostic measurements and either treatments or a heel lift, any length discrepancy can be corrected quickly and easily!
